Ticketing & Attendance Policy 

Effective Date: 03/10/25 

This policy applies to all attendees, delegates, sponsors, and participants of Rise Events’ exhibitions, conferences, and related activities, regardless of location. 

By purchasing a ticket, registering as a delegate, or entering into a sponsorship agreement, you accept the terms outlined in this policy. 

1. Ticket & Delegate Pass Terms 

  • Delegate Passes are issued for individual use only and are strictly non-transferable. 

  • General Admission Tickets (where offered) are also non-transferable unless otherwise specified in writing by Rise Events. 

  • Rise Events reserves the right to cancel or deny access to any pass that has been transferred or resold without authorisation. 

2. Ticket Types 

Rise Events may issue the following ticket or pass categories: 

  • Delegate Pass: Provides full access to conference sessions, exhibition halls, networking functions, and any relevant digital content. Non-transferable. 

  • General Admission / Expo Pass: Limited access to exhibitions and public sessions. 

  • VIP / Executive Pass: Includes enhanced access (e.g., speaker dinners, closed-door sessions, concierge support). 

  • Sponsor / Exhibitor Pass: Provided as part of contracted sponsorship or exhibitor agreements and subject to separate terms. 

  • Complimentary / Guest Passes: Issued at the discretion of Rise Events and may carry limitations. 

3. Payment Terms 

  • All ticket and pass purchases must be paid in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed. 

  • Accepted payment methods include credit/debit card, bank transfer, and approved digital payment systems. 

  • Prices are subject to change and may be listed in local or international currencies. 

  • All prices are exclusive of applicable local taxes, which will be added at checkout unless otherwise noted.  

4. Cancellations & Refunds 

Cancellations by Attendee: 

  • Cancellations must be made in writing to tickets@riseevents.com. 

  • Refund terms (unless otherwise agreed in writing): 

  • 100% refund if cancelled more than 60 days prior to event 

  • 50% refund if cancelled between 59–30 days 

  • No refund for cancellations less than 29 days before the event 

  • Processing fees may apply to all refunds. 

Cancellations or Changes by Rise Events: 

  • Rise Events reserves the right to reschedule or cancel events at its discretion. 

  • In such cases, affected attendees will be offered: 

  • A full refund, partial refund; or 

  • The option to transfer registration to the new event date or a similar event. 

5. Ticket Transfers and Name Changes 

  • Delegate passes are non-transferable. 

  • General admission tickets may be transferred only with written consent from Rise Events and at least 14 days’notice. 

  • Name changes on permitted tickets may incur an administrative fee. 

  • Unauthorised transfers or substitutions will invalidate the ticket/pass. 

 

6. Sponsorship Agreements 

  • Sponsorship opportunities are available and will be handled on a case-by-case basis. 

  • Terms, deliverables, and entitlements will be outlined in individual sponsorship agreements and subject to additional legal terms.

7. Access & Entry 

  • Entry requires presentation of a valid ticket, ID, and may include a security check. 

  • Rise Events reserves the right to deny entry or remove attendees due to misconduct, breach of terms, or health and safety concerns. 

  • Admission is at the discretion of event organisers.

8. Code of Conduct 

All attendees must adhere to the Rise Events Code of Conduct, which prohibits: 

  • Harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behaviour 

  • Disruption of sessions, exhibitions, or networking events 

  • Misuse of badges or access credentials 

Breach of these rules may result in removal without refund and possible ban from future events. 

9. Data Privacy 

Personal information collected during registration is handled in accordance with the Rise Events Privacy Policy and applicable global data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, PDPA). 
Information may be shared with event sponsors or partners only where consent is provided. 

 

10. Accessibility & Special Requirements 

We are committed to inclusive access. If you have accessibility, dietary, or other special requirements, please notify us at least 10 working days before the event:

11. Event Recordings & Media 

By attending, you consent to being photographed or recorded for promotional or archival use. You may opt out at the time of registration or inform staff onsite. 

 

12. Force Majeure 

Rise Events shall not be held liable for cancellations or changes due to circumstances beyond its control, including natural disasters, pandemics, political unrest, or acts of God. 

 

13. Governing Law 

This policy and any disputes arising under it are governed by the laws of Australia, unless otherwise stated in a separate agreement.
